My babe is 8 months old! He is SO BIG!
It's been a crazy week. The weather website said we had hurricane force winds, tornados and snow. Doesn't get much better than that. We were without power for a few hours last night, but just as it got dark the truck appeared and it was all better! It was fun to be without power. I was "forced" to just play. No laundry was going, my bedroom was too dark to put clothes away and there was no internet. We did puzzles and I got the little piano all fixed up with new batteries. We read a lot of Richard Scarry books. I was pretty happy with our evening. The Boppers was too until the end. We had to bribe him with a sticker so I could cut his hair. He hates hair cuts. All is well now.
I'm happy to report 2 large items have been checked off of my never ending to do list. Do you have one of those? I do. The thing that says- wash windows, do baby book, clean closets, print pictures. I was finally able to cross off the Bazaar items from church that are finished. I also buckled down and finished The Boppers picture book of being 2! I used shutterfly this time and really enjoyed it. It's in the mail and everything. I crossed that off and consider myself all caught up with pictures until Chewy turns one.
I had another one of those crazy times. I'm sure somebody that heard my prayer would have thought I was nuts, but I prayed at the craft store last week for some inspiration for my MOPS craft and I got it. I can't wait to show it to you. I'm looking at it right now. I know it's early fro Christmas, but I just wanted to do a Christmas craft. We only meet once in December and it's our big party so we usually don't have time for crafts! I hope everybody enjoys it as much as I did.
Now, it's off to get ready for tomorrow. It's the big cross country meet. State qualifying. I'm so nervous. We have a runner who can do it. It's his senior year! I just want to know if next week I will be in the cities watching state or at home (maybe crossing more things off my list). That's all for now!
My give away ends TONIGHT. Head over here and leave just one comment and be entered in to win!
Adorable pictures. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love the cheeks. They're perfect.
Time goes by, so fast, doesn't it? Sometimes I wish it would just slow down. Just a bit.
Blessings to you!
