Alpaca Yarn

I'm officially spoiled.  This alpaca yarn is amazing!  A family nearby me is actually raising alpacas for their wool.  This yarn came from Leah Marie and Rosie!  I'm hoping to meet the alpacas someday.  Sadly, I had to remove the scarf and give it to its rightful owner.  It was a lot of fun to try out a new yarn. It feels a lot different from acrylic and even other wool blends.  You can tell it is a natural fiber and it worked up really nice! Put alpaca wool on the splurge list for someday...

  2. Alpaca is lovely - just be careful since it tends to grow with washing and wearing! I absolutely think you should introduce yourself to the alpacas - they're so fun!
