1. 15 minute clean up everyday. It's probably something I do most days, but I want to be more accountable for it. I put it on an extra line in my daily chore list from Motivated Moms. My dream is that everyone in my house would do this, but I can't control the hubby or beg him or remind him. So instead, I will start and see if maybe others (my hubby) will pick up on it. Or maybe, most of the general "mess" in the house is mine and it will look better if I keep it up.
2. Run 5K in May. So this isn't the furthest I've run or anything, but the big race will be around 12 weeks after the baby is born. So really, I have 6 weeks to get ready. They call it the "friday 5" and the next day my hubby will run his first 1/2 marathon. I know I can get up to running the 3 miles with only 6 weeks, but I can't promise it will be "fast".
3. Less computer time. Geez, I just need to put this silly thing away. It's so easy to have a laptop and just haul it around the house and use it all the time. I need to find some tangible way to meet this goal. I don't know if a time limit is the best idea, but something where a certain time of day the computer is in the office with the door closed. I will have to think more about this one, but I'm hoping that just realizing how much time I spent on this silly thing will be enough to help me lessen that!
4. More focused playtime with Martin. Also, no tangible way yet to measure this. I'm thinking for myself I need to set a timer and just "play" with him. I just don't do well with that. There is always something else to do and I have trouble putting it aside. So I will start small and just see what happens. It's so easy to fill his cup with my time. I just need to make sure I am giving him as much as I can.
