Slowing down!

Things are not slowing down like I though after cross country practice.  I have had more time with Martin which is nice.  We have played trains and had a good time hanging out and not rushing around.  He still isn't sleeping well so that adds to my busyness as I deal with being exhausted everyday.  I had a check up for baby and we are all doing fine!  Here are some high lights.

• Excited for my trip to NYC next week.  I can't wait to see my sister and do all of the fun stuff we have planned (like meeting her boyfriend for the first time, going to Martha Stewart's show, a Broadway musical, haircut, seeing the Lion Brand Studio etc).  
• Finally started reading "Life of the Beloved".  Forgot that I am God's Beloved.  Just loved no matter.  More on that later!
• Will be getting a really cute craft project together for my MOPS group and checked out an awesome cookie recipe book from the library.  Can't wait to bake something.
• Found a great pattern and yarn for Martin's Day of St. Nick present.  I have never made him a blanket or crocheted him anything.  It will be neat to see how it turns out.  I try to make him something for the Day of St. Nick instead of buying it.  Last year I made him a velcro picture board and he still runs around with all of those pictures.  

Better head out.  Martin is ready to play trains!
