A jello story

My husband passed this story onto me.  I don't know what you'll get out of it, but I thought it was interesting.  

Now, jello is considered the norm at potlucks and we even make fun of ourselves because of it, but when jello first came out that wasn't the case.  To make jello you need refrigeration.  It was considered a status symbol then to bring jello because not everyone  had a refrigerator in their home.  This was a sign of wealth and money and also that you lived in town where you had electricity to be able to have a fridge.  Interesting huh?
