20-21:52 Embroidery

It'll take some serious work to get to 52 before the end of the year.
I'm not worried about it though.
We will see how far I get!
These are gifts for a wedding we are going to.

A little move themed towels!
I do love these patterns.

18-19:52 Embroidery

More gifts!
These are both patterns from the good old craft store.
So nice not to have to trace and then iron on.
Why are owls so cute?  I just love them!

Patterns are from here!

14-17:52 Embroidery

I did up 4 towels in exchange for some artwork I needed done for a friend.
She picked these bird patterns and I have about died of cuteness.
I have 2 towels ready to go with the birdies for myself.
What?  I have a list of other projects?  Please, don't remind me!  Crafting is so fun!:)

I think these two are my favorite.  The little love birds turned out so cute!
The recipient is a lover of music so I added notes to a few of the towels.

Look at this little family of birds!

Patterns are from the split stitch and they are Scandinavian Birds I & III

Moving right along on my embroidery stuff!

I'm behind on my goals in both this and running, but there is nothing like working towards something.

9-13:52 Embroidery

I decided a little late to make gifts for my son's teachers at school.
These were really simple patterns, but I only had a day and a half to finish all of them!

The patterns are from Big Bs.  Very easy and quick with lots of options.
I will add buttons to the flower centers next time.
And maybe a red button for the cherry!

I'm not caught up yet on my 52 projects yet, but this did help.

5-8:52 Embroidery

#5 is missing.  That's because I got so excited when I got my new purple shamrock roots from my friend Kendra that I mailed it off without taking a picture.  It said "COOL YOUR JETS!".  It's one of my favorite patterns.

This is kind of a sampler towel.  I needed a few towels in the kitchen and decided to make these for myself.  I tried 4 new stitches.  The door and roof were my tests.  I've decided if I'm going to make a quilt of some kind it should probably include more than just the one stitch!
Look at these little love birds!  I think they live in the little house above.  Now they are sitting in my towel drawer!
This is just one of my favorite patterns.  I rarely iron so I just make a bunch of towels and embroider them when I can!

My towels are restocked.  I should probably stash bust some cotton yarn and make new wash cloths too!

4:52 Embroidery

Here it is!  Project 4.  That makes me 4 projects behind if I were trying to do one a week.  I will have to double up sometime soon!

I love this pattern.  The pattern is from HERE.  It is a gift for a friend.  She is filling her daughter's hope chest and wanted one.  I hadn't heard of a hope chest in a while, but I think the idea is really neat.  I'm glad I can be a part of it!

This is a quilt top I found here. It's one of the things I've been thinking about doing for my embroidery project.  I'm not a quilter, but the ladies at church are.  I'm sure I could find someone to help me.  I think I would find a pattern where the squares are a  little bigger for my first try.
Love this one too.  (From here)  Since my house is full of boys I would probably need to find a different design though!

This one is super cute too!  (Found here!)

2-3:52 Embroidery

Finally more embroidery projects.  This and my 500 mile running goal are starting out slow!

2:  I used my cricut, wonder under, and hand embroidered LOVE on this towel.  I learned a lot about cutting fabric with the cricut and I'm anxious to try it again.  Google "cutting fabric with cricut" and you will find a million tips!

3:  "Main Squueze" both of these towels are for a friend that got married.  I'm embarrassed to say the wedding was this summer.  Better late than never right?!?!?!  I embroidered their initials into the heart on the tree.

I have one more order for a towel and then we will see what else I come up with!

1:52 Embroidery

I'm already a little behind in my 52 embroidery projects for the year.  Thankfully I didn't say "1 a week".  I will catch up sometime soon.  This pattern is a new one from Stitcher's Revolution called Urban Garden.  I made it as a housewarming gift for some folks who just moved back to "Life Good".  (That's Nebraska, and yes, it's the good life.  Our sign says so when you enter the state!)
