Frosty the Snowman

Frosty is my kids' favorite Christmas movie.  Heck, we'd even watch it in June.  Thankfully this summer the DVD got damaged and we waited until December to get a new one!  Anywho....
This hat is for my friend's aunt.  She had a few health issues and we're hoping this will keep her warm when she's able to leave her room and get out a bit.  I am IN LOVE with this yarn.  It's Tweed Stripes from Lion Brand.  It's a bulky weight so it works up quick and feels really nice.  I bought some black/gray tweed yesterday and had fun making a headband.

Finally, here are Frosty's kids, Snowman #1 and Snowman #2.  This was a pinterest inspiration.  (Pattern) I'm not really confident in my Amigurumi skills, but this was good practice.  I love these little guys.

Next on my list? A headband for myself (my ears are getting cold), a scarf for a friend from alpaca yarn (the alpaca's were raised a few miles from my house), a couple fun orders, and a cool single chain crochet project.  I'm actually excited for holiday travel.  Lots of crocheting in the car...
