It was a racing weekend. We ran a 10K for the second year for Oktoberfest. My in-laws come to stay at the hotel and watch the boys and some seminary friends come to run with us! The course was a little awkward this year due to some flooding issues, but I enjoyed it. As most races in this town it was fast, friendly, and flat!
Here are some pastors (and ME!) post race. Next on our list is the Half in May! I can't believe our days of running are getting slim until spring comes around! We've probably got a few more weeks left until I have to pull out the snow pants. My goal was the 10K in under an hour. I did it earlier this summer at a race. I got off to an okay start and finished the last 1.5 miles pretty hard. My official time was 1:00.43. Only 43 seconds off my goal! It's always the company that makes these races so much fun! I can't wait for May! (My awesome hubby finished in 50:52- he wanted to break 50 minutes so bad. Next time...He might run the 10 instead of the half in May. He loves that distance)
