Week 5: Craft Buster

This blue yarn was possibly the largest stash in my stuff.  I didn't have a plan when I bought it and couldn't figure one out!  Here are a few things I made with it.

Granny Stripe Boutique Bag

It's perfect for a little girl and the pattern is easy enough to make the bag larger.  I probably used 1/2 skein of yarn or less on it.

The cute little flower comes from here!
Super simple.  We're on vacation (I'm working ahead) and this flower will make some cute garland!
Be on the look out!

This was from the greatest crochet book I ever bought!  It's actually a magazine and boy have I used it.  It had a tutorial on hats and lots of scarves and tunsian crochet for beginners.  It was a great purchase!
You can buy the pattern here! I found it in this issue of Interweave Crochet magazine.

That's my craft bustin' vacation style!

Week 5- Craft Buster August 20th-26th

oops I hit publish too fast!  This is a little early.  Happy Vacation to me!

  1. My five year old is just learning to chain, but she's a leftie, so it's been really tough to demonstrate it that way myself.

She'd absolutely love this...I'll have to make matching ones for her and little sister...that'd be really cute.

Just imagine the fun you could have crocheting for girls!
