Daddy's birthday fell on Shrove or Fat Tuesday a few weeks ago! Since we have a family tradition of birthday pancakes, it worked out perfect. Tradition has it that you use up all of your eggs and other fats by cooking pancakes the day before Ash Wednesday!
Daddy milked this birthday for all it's worth. Sunday we had dinner with his parents and I think that's the last celebration of his 29th year!
And yes, the baby is eyeing those pancakes and he ate more than I did. I don't know where he's putting it all! And also, the Bops is holding turkey bacon. He ate more of that than I did too!
