If it was Monday this would be miscellany!  Wow.  Where to start...We managed to make it to Missouri for Thanksgiving.  I swear we checked the weather more than facebook in those last couple days leading up to our big adventure.  It ended up being fine. 100 miles of "iffy" conditions and then it was like the snow never happened.  We ended up having to drive all the way (11.5 hours) on Thanksgiving because of the weather.   We celebrated hubby's grandma's 90th birthday, saw some model trains, spent time with his grandpa and family, went swimming, and had a good time!

After that we bopped over to Nebraska to see my parents and break the trip home up!  It was nice and relaxing.  We visited a poinsettia exhibit at the botanical gardens complete with a model train and then we headed over to another museum that has some train stuff.  It was good to see my parents.  We made it home and things have been crazy ever since.  I realize that I left the house a mess, but it's always a surprise. 

So, besides cleaning I'm starting to do more baking for our open house and an advent dinner at church.  We are potty training the Bops, Chewy seems to be getting his first tooth, no one is getting good sleep, and the weather is down right COLD in Minnesota.  I've watched Elmo's Potty Time Video more than once today and have asked "do you have to go" more times than I can count.  I am glad we're doing it.  Now, if I just didn't feel like I have OCD after stopping everything every 10 minutes to take a child to the bathroom I could get something done.  Happily the tree is up with lights, it's just waiting for the rest of it...Oh boy.  Countdown to Christmas Open House=11 days.
