OH mac, how I miss you.

Taking a quick break from the open house preparations.  We are less than 24 hours away.  I just love doing this.  We are surrounded by blizzard like conditions, but most of the snow has moved off to the east.  It's pretty here in my little town.  My friendly neighbor in the bob cat has already shoveled us out, but most roads are listed as dangerous or not driveable...we aren't going anywhere until tomorrow. 

I'm so sad my laptop charger died.  Forgive my typing on my hubby's PC.  I can't stand this keyboard.  Luckily my friend will bring her charger to our get together Sunday evening.  I can get a full charge and then I have ordered a replacement and hopefully it will be here by the end of the week.  Maybe somebody at MOPS can give me a charge on Tuesday.  Oh well.  At least we have two computers.

With that, I have NO pictures to post.  I have taken a ton of our house all decorated for tomorrow and of the food etc.  I'm a little OCD and don't want to download them on my hubby's computer.  I like all of my pictures all together.  You will just have to dream of Andes Mint cookies, Applesauce Spicey Cookies, Lemon and Orange sugar cookies, cinnamon apple cider, double chocolate chip cookies, and Nuts and Bolts.  I promise I will post some recipes after this is all done.  I kept trying and trying new recipes and kept failing.  Luckily I went back to some old stand bys and they all turned out great.  I braved another new recipe and my confidence must have been up because they taste yummy! 

Well, I have wrapped a few presents today and am frantically working on a few craft project gifts I should have started months ago.  I never know who I'm going to give stuff too or what I want to do until way too late.  I will post pictures of those too!  I'm going to enjoy a cup of my favorite hot cocoa and then clean the bathroom!
