Most days I don't think too much about it, but it's always in the back of my hubby and my mind. We gave them back. The minute we held them in our arms we had to give them back. We had to give our children back to God. We gave them back to the One who can heal them, love them, forgive them, and never leave them. We had to give them back to God in order to be the best parents we could. We love our babies more than our own lives, but we are not God!
These two smiling faces were given to me to care for, grow, teach, and love. I must remember that this weekend. One of the Boppers friends from MOPS was diagnosed with leukemia just 3 days after playing at our meeting with him. Gabbie and her mom (who is on the leadership team with me) and the rest of family are in my prayers. They said they have felt the prayers surrounding them. I know Gabbie is in the hands of the Almighty Healer. And that is why we give them back. We pray for her healing and peace for her and her family!
