I finished a super sweet scarf for a Christmas gift last night. Pictures to follow soon. I found 2 books of crochet stitches and finally figured out how to use them. I feel a sense of accomplishment now that I can actually work on my own patterns.

My very sweet goddaughter Eva Marie was baptized on Sunday. It was very special to be included and know that we're always a part of her life, especially her faith life. So we made a quick trip to North Dakota this weekend and are now gearing up for a busy week.

I have to take my school driving test today. I do not, in any way, think it is "sweet". I'm very nervous and almost sick to my stomach. Each year I have to take a written test and then a driving test to be approved to transport students to activities (like cross country meets). I'm sure I will pass. I don't think they set out to have me fail, but really...I just wish it was over!

We still have a sweet treat leftover in the freezer and I'm craving a piece. I love DQ Ice cream cake. Yummy!
