Have pillow, will travel

I just traveled with the boys to meet my parents half way for some last minute summer fun!  Lucky for me, the boys slept the whole way home.  The trip a lot of fun, but having to drive is not my idea of a good time.  Instead, I would rather be relaxing with one of these while my hubby drives.

I am not a very talented at sewing.  I took a class in junior high and that's it.  I've made some curtains, but that's about it. I wanted to make something for our church's annual bazaar.  I don't know what made me think travel pillow but I did.  I found a great pattern on Etsy and went ahead and bought it.  I had the rest of the supplies from previous projects I was working on.  It didn't take much and I had a pillow.  

I've got a pretty good list of things I want to make for the bazaar, but we'll see what time allows.  I thought I would make a few magnets, magnetic notepads, these neck pillows and maybe a scarf or two.  I've also started thinking about Christmas presents and have one scarf and one tea towel in the works.  I love keeping busy but seem to overwhelm myself most of the time!  Too many projects and not enough time...
