One of my favorite books is Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver. Wow, what a great book. I have read it by myself and in multiple bible studies and just believe Weaver's words are so powerful. I suggest you read it. One of the best stories she tells in the book is so fitting for Easter. Since I don't have time to write it out word for word, I will paraphrase. Forgive me if I miss an important part, but I think you'll get the message.
One Easter Sunday a young group of Sunday School kids were given those plastic panty hose eggs and told to find something to put in it that would remind them of Easter. The kids were let go outside and ran to find their treasures to put in the egg. After they came back inside each child opened their egg to show what reminded them of Easter. Some kids had flowers, butterflies, even a rock, but one kid had something special. A young boy in the class who was born with a down syndrome opened his egg and had nothing in it. The kids teased him and told him he didn't get it and that wasn't the assignment. Finally, the boy said "It's empty, the tomb is empty". All of the kids were quiet. He was right, the tomb was empty. It may be Friday, but Sunday is coming...
I invite you to read the whole story if you get a chance. It is a good one and I know I missed some important parts, but it Friday and Sunday is coming and the tomb will be empty!
