- Wow. I finally finished a crocheting project. My ends are all tied in and it looks cute if I do say so myself! I wish I could starch it, but I'm nervous about ironing the yarn. We'll see how it looks next week. I managed to buy some yarn to make blankets for both of my boys. Now I just need to pick a pattern and get started. Here are some pictures of the table runner I made for the dining room table!
The framed print is from one of my favorite artists and I bought it with my Grandma at his gallery in Arizona. It's how I picked the colors for the table runner!
I also realized during this project I kind of like motif crocheting. Luckily my library can order me in a book with over 200 motifs. I'm excited. My idea is to pick a motif that I can use my extra yarn on from already finished projects. I usually use the same yarn (Lion Brand- Vanna White mostly, if you're curious!) so that makes it easy to put together a project of some kind with the leftovers!
