Summer cleaning frenzy

From some of my past blogs you probably know that I'm trying to spring clean.  Now that summer has come it seems like it's the time to actually get finished.  I have a few more rooms left, but I'm ready to do it.  I love reading blogs and through a friend I have found some great blogs.  Joye at The Joyeful Journey posted that she was going to start and found the information through a blog called momstheword.  I'm jumping on the bandwagon and posting the rooms I need to get done and what I need to do.  It's simple because it's just one room at a time and hopefully I can get one done every week.  Lucky for me I'm having a garage sale with a friend at the end of June so I have even more incentive.  The biggest one for me is that I love living in a clean house.  It makes my mind feel less cluttered.  

My First Room is the Spare bedroom (this does not include the "magic closet", that will be a whole different week.)

• Flip mattress and get ready for company
• Dust and clean inside of windows
• Clean curtains
• Dust bookcase and organize
• Work on computer desk (tighten screws etc)
• Organize office items.
• Bring office and tax information in from dining room
• Find 2008 taxes (how did I lose those already?)
• Dust and clean side table
• Put together broken train toy box and put back in Martin's bedroom.
• General dusting and vacuuming

I have to be very detailed or I won't get it done.  I'm a list person.  Let the cleaning begin (as soon as I get home from visiting my parents!).
