Yep! It's been 5 years today (6-26) since my wonderful hubby and I got married. It seems like just yesterday, but so much has happened since then. We moved 4 times, finished seminary, and had a baby. I can still remember our wedding day and all of our anniversaries after that. Here's the low down on the last five years with my awesome husband.
Year 1- Spent our anniversary at Olive Garden while Bryant was on call for CPE!
Year 2- Finally, a real anniversary trip. We went to St. Louis before moving to Michigan.
Year 3- Spent the day at Fairlane in Michigan. I spent most of the day waiting for the baby to arrive (he showed up 4 days later!).
Year 4- This is a sad one. We had just moved and forgot about it until my mother in law called. Oh well. We're still in love!
Year 5- We have a baby sitter and no plans. I think that's just perfect.
Maybe for our 10 year anniversary we'll go on another trip just the two of us! No matter what, it's been a great 5 years. The pictures below are uploaded with permission from our photographer (VW Photography) and they are a few of my favorites from the big day!

ReplyDeletehappy anniversary!! we were married for five years in november. i can't believe how fast time goes by!! i love that you said what you did for the anniversaries previous. and that you forgot one year! lol. whenever we get our new calendar for the year that is one date i have marked with a big heart so my hubby doesn't forget. NOW i just have to get him to LOOK at it. :0)
