Mother's Day!

We had a wonderful day.  I woke up to breakfast in bed and a sleeping baby.  Then went to church and was blessed for being a mother and a daughter.  We also received a pansy from a member as a mother's day gift which I planted outside.  Bryant got me a facial (never had one) and a movie for my gift.  After church we took a long nap followed by flower planting in the front yard.  I feel wonderful that all the flowers are done.  

After all of that, we were invited out to "the" Lake to grill and get it ready for summer.  Bryant and I haven't spent much time on a lake so it was all amazing.  We put the dock in and Martin got a few paddle boat rides.  Martin loved the water and wore some old boots to splash around in.  He proceeded to get overly excited and promptly fell into the water and got his pants all wet.  Oh well!  Our friend had extra clothes so he was dry and still really wanted into the water.  He wore a life jacket without complaint and even fell asleep on the couch.  I smell like smoke, but it was a great mother's day!
