Tunisian Crochet

New year means new projects.  I messaged a friend (one who enjoys running and crocheting...she is the best ever...) and asked if she had seen any "crochet alongs" for 2013 out on the internet anywhere.  She said no but she had been looking.  We decided to save ourselves some time and just make one up ourselves.  I'm super excited to start this stash busting, new technique learning throw soon!  My plan is to use up stash yarn in my closet.  It seems I have a yarn explosion going on.  Before the new year though, I need to finish up a few projects and organize the closet that holds all of my crafty stuff.

I'm a bit bummed that I won't be able to finish my 500 mile goal for the year in running.  I was injured for a lot of the year.  This was the first time I have even been this injured.  I'm going to slow down a little.  I've taken almost two weeks off.  We have a frozen 5K in the middle of January and I'm going to "train" for that.  I need to ease back into running!

I have some other super goals in mind for the new year, but catch up is the name of the game now!  We are starting a new bible study book in January, I'm reading a great book called Giving to God by Mark Allan Powell that I need to finish, and I'm hoping the new devotional book by Joanna Weaver, At the Feet of Jesus is under my tree in kindle form!:)

  1. That sounds like a great idea:) Sorry about your injury. I hope it heals quick enough so that you can get back into running again:) I love bible studies. The only study i get is that one hour time alone when the girls are asleep. I know your book is under the tree in kindle form. I think mine is too lol.
