I finally finished it! My jewelry holder. A while ago I posted some ideas I had found to use with my old frame from the antique section of a craft fair this fall. Here is what I came up with!
I couldn't find a screen that would have big enough holes for an "S" hook, but a small section of fence did the trick. Total I think I spent less than $10 at the local home improvement store.

I need to tweak a few things, like paint the insides of the little round boxes that hold a few earrings and rings that I wear a lot.
I love the "S" hooks! I also like the little knobs. I had to make do with what I could find at home. I ended up finding extra bobbins from my sewing machines and little flowers from my magnetic notepad projects. I'm so thankful to have finished this and it certainly cleaned up the bathroom.
This is just what I've been looking for! I've been thinking I would like to do something similar but every one I'd seen was just not quite right. This is it! I think its the great size of the fence squares as opposed to regular screen. I also love that you used what you had at home to decorate the frame itself. Very pretty and useful!
