Just in case...

I think it's a daughters job to do things that cause their father's to roll their eyes.

We grew up in a baseball lovin' family (except my mom...she just doesn't like it!)  I remember cheering for the Braves and my dad taping games on the VCR during the day!  He's a team switcher.  He's got his favorites and he's got his least favorite (insert most hated team!).  Now, he mostly cheers for the Tigers!

His list of least liked teams that he will never cheer for include the Cardinals and the Yankees!

*Insert eye roll*.  I married a Cardinals fan and my sister married a Yankees fan!  My poor father!

Now, just in case you think we've hopped on the Cardinals band wagon, I've got to tell you, we haven't!  So whether they win or lose tonight we are Cardinals fans.

*Prepare for picture proof*

One of my first Cardinals games!  I married into this Cardinals crazy...

Our 1st Anniversary and we went to a Cardinals game!

Very pregnant at 2007 regular season Tigers game.  It was a rematch of the 2006 World Series

Vacation to the east coast with a stop at the Baseball Hall of Fame!

We start them young!  3 months old at his first Cardinals game.  We have a brick at the new stadium even!  It's stuck right next to one of our favorite moments in Cardinals history- Announcer Jack Buck (his son Joe is an announcer for Fox now) yelling "Go Crazy Folks Go Crazy" when Ozzie Smith hit his walk off home run to win Game 5 of the 1985 World Series.  It was Ozzie Smith's first left handed home run!

Congrats!  We graduated from seminary!

The foam finger lives on! We still use it to cheer the Cards on.  My son can pick out Mike Shannon's voice on the radio.  We rarely get to see a game this far north, but we listen to them a lot on the internet.

The 2nd game played at Target Field with the Twins was an exhibition game against the Cards!  We sat row #5 behind the visitors dug out!

We love our Cards!
