Choices

I've been making choices.  None of them lightly.  Lots of prayer.  I've been getting out of bed and praying and reading while the boys snuggle with daddy in the morning.  I've been intentional about praying about situations that come into my life.  I feel that making choices this way puts my decisions into perspective.  It doesn't make things always easier, just more of a duet instead of a solo when it comes time to follow through.  I also know that since we serve a living God my choices will have growth and movement and could possibly change.

*Made a choice that I wasn't supposed to be the Sunday School Superintendent.  (see this post).  I started reading the materials to gather supplies and got excited.  Really excited.  Frantically texted my friend Michelle with a PRAY.  I think I might be called to be the Sunday School Superintendent.  She laughed at me and prayed.  So, you're reading a post from the newest Sunday School Superintendent.  I'm feeling a little behind, but trying not to add stress to our family and taking it one week at a time.  Our living God is making sure we're listening I tell ya!  I'm still excited.  A little nervous, but excited!

*Made a choice to sign up to sell items at our women's expo in town with a friend.  Started making things and posting pictures and people started to request orders from me.  I love taking orders.  I love love love making things for people.  Enter the thought of my own business.  An etsy shop or blog or something to sell my things.  As I continue to slowly make things for the expo, I realize that's not my thing right now.  I love it when people ask for something specific for a gift.  That's what I enjoy doing.  So, ask away friends.  It's what I most enjoy about crocheting.  Knowing what I'm making and who it's for.  If I can sell a few things great.  I'm not going to run around with this self induced stress about trying to come up with an inventory because it's not how I work.

I love making this for a little person.  I need to try a bigger size for me!
