Putting my feet up!

I've got my feet up and my crochet beside me.  How awesome is that?  In a few crazy turn of events I find myself with my big glass of water, the TV on, and some time to crochet (right after I blog).

Yesterday, the weather started to get a little iffy in Minnesota.  And by iffy, I mean forecasted 4 to 10 inches of snow starting Tuesday evening.  When my hubby called to tell me this, it was 3pm and I was still in town running errands.  The baby was suppose to have an appointment in the cities but I quickly canceled that.  I wasn't going to risk all of that snow and a long drive to get there.  Instead I changed my own plans! I got home around 3:45 and was packed and ready with the boys in the car by 5:18 to come to my parents.

I'm in Nebraska and made the long drive all by myself for the first time with both boys.  (My dad usually makes the 7 hour drive to pick us up.  He's awesome like that!)  I got in around 12:10am and the boys were pretty good.  My sister's bridal shower is this weekend and I kind of like her and wanted to be here!

My dad just took his little shadow, The Bops, to run errands (I didn't even have to ask...) and the Baby, who must be really tired, is laying down by himself in the pack n play (this is very rare for him to lay by himself not in his crib).  Now, before this wonderful time ends, I must work on some crocheting!
