SISTER, DON'T READ THIS! IT'S A GIFT FOR YOU!
I finished this little project for my sister and her fiance. Their shower is in a few weeks. Since my sister and her fiance are traveling with the national tour of Les Miserables, this means I can just pick up a gift card in addition to my little present. The less they have to travel with the better. Plus, they really don't have a house right now.
I printed this pattern online and then had to trace it and iron it on before actually embroidering it. I forgot how hard tracing was! I was a little disappointed in my tracing abilities, but I'm sure they will get better. I'm working hard on a few crochet projects and will hopefully be able to teach a few friends to embroider some tea towels this week. As always, too many projects and not enough time!

This is absolutely awesome,a very cute creation,well its not hard to trace but it depends on fabric stuff also,i use tracing paper sheet & then place it under the pattern paper & done it..but i think its really hard to trace on towel..you did great my dear
ReplyDeleteLovely. Tracing is tricky. When I was in a typography class we had to render different fonts precisely. It is a lot more difficult than one might suppose. You did a fabulous job!
