Pictures of his first birthday party! What a character (or a pistol as my dad says). He is on the mend though. He was diagnosed with pneumonia the day after his party! Poor guy!
We made it. The baby is almost one! I would like to thank my hubby, my oldest boy, my family, and my friends! What a year it's (almost) been. It started off shaky. I thought I would nurse this baby like a champ. After all, I was a seasoned veteran. I had nursed his brother until he was one. That was not the case. We had our struggles. I must thank my hubby for not giving up on me. He didn't pressure me, he didn't tell me I had to. He told me we could. He knew Chewy and I would get it and we did. This one year mark ends that little connection I made with him and that's okay. We made it! Chewy's first 5 days filled his mama with heartbreak and joy at the same time, but we made it. Thanks to my 3 friends who came in and took care of us one evening while my Hubby did Lenten worship the day after my grandma died. I would not have made it without them.
I've got to thank the baby! What a face he is. I just love him to pieces and he completes this little family! He does things on his own time. (For example, he doesn't crawl or walk yet and just rolled over for the first time). He smiles for us all the time. He loves me (I am his favorite) and call for me when I leave and when I'm not there to put him to bed. He is the baby! He dances to just about any music he hears and loves to watch "Bob the Builder". How do I know? He says Bob the Builder. Yes, one of his first words was "Bob Builder". He also says "basketball" Yep all 3 syllables. He laughs at his brother and loves to sit in front of the fridge and play with the magnet toys while I'm cooking. He eats prunes and toast and hates bananas. He could live on graham crackers and yogurt drops if I let him. I need to thank him for life. For keeping me going and loving me no matter what.
I can't believe he's (almost) one!
