Birthday week for my son is over, but now it's my turn! Happy Birthday to me today! It will be my last birthday for a while (I'm turning 29).
~!~
Look at my early birthday present. I have wanted one f-o-r-e-v-e-r! Hubby was going to try to surprise me, but wanted me to be able to pick out the color I wanted. I had found one on sale, but it was white. We were taking it up front and I was thinking I would just get a colored cover to add the punch to our kitchen. We walked by a clearance table and I saw this.....
It was the size and color I wanted and cheaper. It was meant to be! Now I just have to find the time to use it.

We spent the 4th (after church) and today in North Dakota. We are visiting some friends and just relaxing before the rest of July sneaks up on us. We have a youth group mission trip, I will visit my parents with the boys, some friends visiting from seminary, and my MOPS retreat all this month. I also better start planning my cross country schedule for the year! I want to get as much done before it starts as I can.

I didn't get my Friday chapter posted for my book reading. I decided to "be still" and just hang out with my family. My parents came up and we enjoyed playing in the HOT sun and doing a little swimming in the motel. I will go down to visit them in less than two weeks. I have the best dad ever and he is going to come up and get us. He doesn't want me driving with both boys that far by myself. What a guy...

My hubby and I took advantage of my parents being around and managed to sneak away. We made a craft run (more me, he just did the driving) to get some supplies for my MOPS retreat and future projects. Then we even took a run together. It was one of the first (if not the first time) we've ever run together. We both have very distinct styles of running and we both needed to just run without giving each other advice. Now that we have been running for a while consistently it was nice to just run together and kind of chat and push each other. I did let him take off about 4 blocks from home. He pushed me for sure.

I have a weight goal finally. I'm not going to post it, but I have until Easter to reach it. I can't wait for the week after Easter. It is our 3-year reunion at seminary. I already can't wait to see all of our friends and just be back in Dubuque and at the seminary. It was a great time in our life (and it is only getting better).
Linking up with Carissa again!
Happy birthday, Lindy!
