Pretty good self portrait eh? This is the hubby and I at the John Mayer concert we got to attend. Oh my gosh. Awesome. If you recall, I've been waiting to see John Mayer for over 3 years. We got tickets back on internship and then couldn't go. It was a bummer. This totally made up for it. We got a motel room for us and the grandparents. Oma and Opa came to watch the boys while we went to the concert. We had so much fun and he played most of our favorite songs off the new album. Did I mention we were in row T? Yep, on the floor! Then Friday we spent the morning/afternoon shopping. I got some great clothes and so did hubby. Martin played with Oma and Opa at the park and Matthew stayed with us so he could eat and not be cranky!

We are working on a schedule/routine at this house. We are not expecting Matthew to follow it, but it will be nice for the rest of us. Nothing really set in stone, just certain things like eating breakfast at the kitchen table and picking up the toy room before bed. We're also working on an "afternoon playlist" for Martin and I. I kind of go crazy in the afternoons and sometimes just cna't come up with things to do or get stressed out waiting for hubby to get home. I've got some good things on the list and hopefully it will help me to not just turn the TV on. We are contemplating a sandbox also. I think Martin would LOVE it. Just need to talk with the church and then find the one we want.

I am still crocheting and was able to do that in the car on the way to the concert. That's one nice thing about only having one car. When we ride together, hubby always drives. He loves to drive. Then if the boys are good, I just crochet. I am almost ready to make the jump to trying a "wearable". Oh my goodness. I'm a little nervous, but I found a simple patterm for a cute top and I have already used the yarn before to make a baby blanket so I know how it feels and washes up. Now I just have to finish two projects before I will allow myself to start it. We have had some really good days as a family and the sun keeps shining. It's been a good April so far!
