Do you ever...

not do things because you're afraid the opposite might happen?  I guess that's not the right way to phrase the question, but it's the only way I've got.  I'm thinking mostly right now about packing my bag for the hospital.  I am almost 38 weeks pregnant (on Monday!) and just can't seem to pack my bag.  I guess I'm afraid if I pack the bag nothing will happen anyway and it will sit packed until way past my due date.  Isn't that crazy?!?!?!  Why would packing my bag have anything to do with when the baby comes, but that's how I think.  If I don't have the bag packed maybe the baby will come now since he knows I'm not ready...Oh the things I can talk my brain into!
