Where am I?

I'm right here, but overwhelmed.  This summer has just gotten away from me in every sense of the word.  Don't get me wrong, I love summer.  I just don't enjoy the busyness that comes with it.  We just haven't had time to catch our breath let alone have any time to think about life.  

At the end of june Martin had his 2nd birthday party complete with 20 of our closest friends and family.  Just as I got the last lovely guest out of the house we quickly followed with our trip to Nebraska.  Then we got back and had less than 48 hours to prepare for our wonderful friends to come.  The day after they left my in laws came for a brief visit on their way to Wisconsin.  I think I finally have all the towels done from the visits.  We had less than a week of peace, but I don't remember much of it and then our town had it's annual celebration.  Lots to do, people to see, fun to have.  I'm still exhausted.  

Finally, my hubby leaves on Sunday for 10 days.  Thank goodness my mom is coming to have fun with us.  After he gets back we have about a week or so to settle back in and do laundry before he leaves again for the boundary waters.  Somewhere in there we go to a wedding where Bryant will offer the prayer before the meal and I have to take a 12 hour coaching class.  

So not to complain, I have loved this summer.  I'm just overwhelmed.  I still ahve a few things to get together for MOPS ideas and then I will be ready for that.  It's been a rainy day here so lots of time inside which is actually okay!  I would say long live summer, but right now I'm kind of glad it doesn't go on forever!:)
