Sunday was a lazy day which is always nice after worship. Martin took a long nap and I finished a book. I also finished what will hopefully be my last solo effort at writing Sunday School lessons. I love doing it, but need some help. I'm almost out of ideas and it should be a team effort. The kids will be studying the parable of the sower. A good one I think, since I have 10 tulips popping out in my yard and a whole bunch of day lilies (my favorite!).
One of the best parts, was Bryant realizing I needed to get some non-toddler friendly things done around the house. I didn't even have to ask. We went in to get Martin after his nap and Bryant said "Martin, should the boys go watch trains?" Martin hopped up out of his bed faster than I've seen him before and was ready to go watch "whoo, whoo". They called once to say they wouldn't be home for dinner and gave me 5 glorious hours at home to finish some much needed projects.
I re potted my indoor plants, cleaned the kitchen, filled holes in the living room wall and painted the spots. I moved some wall decor around to work with my new little piece of furniture I got. It all looks cute. I also finished a table runner we had started at MOPS. The boys came home around 9 and I put Martin to bed. What a good day...
Oh my goodness! You inspire me, Lindy! Nice table runner, by the way :D
